Google Play requires apps that allow account creation to provide an in-app path for account deletion and a web deletion resource. Confirm the app's in-app account deletion flow before production release.

Clear tracked app data in the app

Open FinAI, go to Settings, and choose Clear my data. This removes tracked expenses, budget limits, income credits, recurring payments, savings entries, statement imports, and custom categories stored for the signed-in user. Your sign-in account may remain active unless account deletion is also requested.

  • Include the email address used for your account.
  • Do not include passwords, bank credentials, card numbers, OTPs, or full statements.

What is deleted

  • Account profile records linked to the app account.
  • Expenses, income entries, recurring transactions, budgets, savings, and categories.
  • Stored statement analysis records and imported transaction results.
  • AI chat context stored by the app, if any.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained temporarily where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, or backup recovery. Retained records are limited to what is necessary and are deleted or de-identified when no longer needed.

Processing time

Account and data deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days after request verification, unless a longer period is required by law or security obligations.
